The way the chain wraps around, if it falls of it kind of mangles the plastic and damages the chain. I have had to replace the chain a few times. I also replaced the bar hoping that i was just missing a problem with the bar.I had a dewalt cordless before this, and I wish I had stuck with Dewalt - all my other products are Makita and I am happy with them.Just the design of how the chain wraps up sucksAlso you must have the wrench with you to put chain back on, kind of a pain. Dewalt was much easier.So I am not a fan. A bit of a letdown for sure.

This is nice, lightweight saw. The only drawback but since the charge time is really quick it allows for clean up of the area between cuts
Didn’t know what to expect from a battery powered chain saw. After messing around with it in the shop and doing some yard clean up, I am very pleased with the battery life and performance. Not to mention, not having to mess around with gas, choke, throttle….
Happy with chainsaw, cuts 250mm trees, light and portable
